I'm proud to lead The Reading Doctor Tendring (Clacton), where I support children to become confident, independent readers through personalised 1:1 sessions.
With over 20 years’ experience as a teacher, SENCO and senior leader, I am passionate about helping children overcome reading difficulties and build confidence in their abilities.

Why I Became a Reading Doctor
I believe every child deserves the opportunity to become a confident, independent reader and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Having supported children with SEND, EAL and a wide range of additional needs, I understand the importance of a personalised, nurturing approach. I combine evidence-based methods with a calm, supportive teaching style to help every child feel secure, capable and proud of their progress.
