I became a Reading Doctor because I wanted to focus fully on providing bespoke, one-to-one support for children who need it most. After years of working in schools and specialist roles — including as Devon's Lead Reading Recovery Teacher and delivering phonics training nationwide — I felt strongly that early, targeted intervention can change a child's entire educational journey. The Reading Doctor allows me to combine my experience and specialist training to make a meaningful difference to families in my community.
