My journey with The Reading Doctor began when I met founder Deborah Salsbury while working in a school. I had the opportunity to use the method and resources in my classroom and witnessed the transformation it sparked in struggling readers. That experience ignited my passion to join the team. Over the past 18 years in a specialist school, I’ve learned that children thrive when supported holistically, emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually and when they feel safe, seen and accepted. The Reading Doctor approach embraces that philosophy entirely.
